Canadians in World War Two

2015 marked the 70th anniversary of the end of World war Two.

There were 11 million of us then and 3 million worked on the home front.

One million went war of which 700,000 were under 21, 50,000 were women, 53,000 were wounded, 8,200 were prisoners of war and 46,000 never came home

Through the generosity of donations from veterans and their families we are proud to honour the men and women of the Canadian Army, Navy, Merchant Navy and Air Force in WWII through displays of medals, badges, uniforms, weapons, accoutrements and photos.
