The Canadian Military Heritage Museum of Brant County is a vision realized by a dedicated group of volunteers, comprised of veterans and military history enthusiasts became a reality in 1993.
The driving force leading the project was a D-Day veteran and proud Canadian, Derek Pite.
Derek’s leadership and passion to honour the Canadian men and women who have served and still serve led to what is now a first class military museum
The museum houses more than 20,000 artifacts in a spacious 13,000 sq. ft. building in the former Massey Harris/Cockshutt industrial properties in Brantford.
Our goal is to preserve, educate and display artifacts pertaining to the military heritage of Canada and especially Brantford, Brant County and Six Nations; honouring the men and women of who have served and are currently serving in all branches.
The CMHM is a fully accessible facility with handicap parking steps from the door
